New Years Day Photo's...Great Day in the snow on a beautiful sunny day in Colorado!

44 more days till Elissa goes on her mission. Today is New Years Day and we are having as much fun as possible with the Elissa and our other kids till she goes!

All in all this little trip made the start of 2008 the best it could be.
From Janelle, Elissa, Kendra, Susan and Jim...
To all our friends, family, neighbors, co-workers...Make your 2008 the best year you have ever had!
We Snow shoe'd to the Castle in Mount Falcon Park just about a 20 minute drive up 285 from Denver:
Former Cosmopolitan Magazine owner John Brisben Walker built a castle here, but the home burned down in 1918 when it was struck by lightning. All that remains are the massive stone walls and fireplaces.

Congrats on your daughters mission call.
My daughter is serving in the Argentina Salta Mission. She has been there for 3 months. Her area is very warm. She is trying hard to learn the language, and she loves the people. We have a page for her on Facebook.com. It is under Hermana (Sister) Kira Burgess.
Best Wishes to Elissa.
